Hello and welcome to our homepage. My name is John Morehead, owner of Morehead Contracting, located in Newport, Virginia. I started Morehead Contracting after receiving my Masters of Landscape Architecture degree from Virginia Tech and after many years working as a contractor in the landscape and masonry fields.
We are a class A contracting firm specializing in the building of custom homes, additions and speculative homes. Our company can provide your home with, masonry elements, fine woodworking and a beautifully designed landscape. We are interested in any size job.
Morehead contracting is built upon the principals and knowledge of my experiences in general contracting, masonry and landscape architecture. Our overriding principal is that all structures, no matter their value, should be in agreement with the landscape and respect its visual and architectural vernacular. This leads to a better designed living environment and cost savings for you.
We are a professional organization with high values regarding quality and customer satisfaction. We maintain a strong relationship with sub-contractors and others in the business community that do work for the company.
